  Spring 2026 IFC Fraternity Recruitment

The formal recruitment process is strongly encouraged for anyone interested in joining a fraternity at ECU. This process provides an opportunity for men to meet all IFC fraternities, learn about their values and membership expectations, and make informed decisions about which organizations they would like to continue exploring. Spring Formal Recruitment takes place at the end of January.

All prospective participants must register through the online registration system found on the ECU Greek Life website. Eligibility is based on a student’s most recently completed academic semester, whether that is graduating from high school or completing coursework at the collegiate level.

Eligibility Requirements for Spring Recruitment:

Currently Enrolled in College: Minimum 2.60 unweighted cumulative GPA with 12 or more earned credit hours

We do not round GPAs or make exceptions for students who fall below these standards. Registration fees are non-refundable, even if a student registers and does not meet the eligibility requirements.
